斑點湖(the Spotted Lake)位於加拿大不列顛哥倫比亞省與美國華盛頓州，斑點湖湖水中富含硫酸鎂、鈣、鈉硫酸鹽等高濃度礦物質，以及銀與二氧化鈦等化合物，每當夏季斑點湖湖水蒸發後，斑點湖面就會露出一顆顆結晶礦物質，經年累月竟在斑點湖湖中形成許多白色結晶鑲邊的淺池。

由於斑點湖池水中的礦物質含量有所差異，因此斑點湖水體會呈現出深藍色或綠色等奇特顏色，據說印度人曾在一個故事中提到斑點湖，相傳斑點湖的泥水能治療疼痛與疾病。
